Conferences on Biomedicine Today and Tomorrow in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei, Seoul, Osaka, Toronto, Boston, Paris, Caracas, Santiago,   Buenos Aires, Porto Alegre, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Philadelphia and Raleigh/Durham.

1995

Annual strategic conferences on Biomedicine in Developing Countries in Oxford.

1996

Launch of American Friends of OIBC. Hon Philip Lader, Ambassador of the United States, was the most recent Hon President.
Conference on Molecular Mechanisms of Infection and   Immunity with Chulabhorn Research Institue in Bangkok.

1996 –

Collaborative agreements signed with overseas institututions. Now include India, Ukraine, Israel, Thailand and Philippines.

1997

Joint seminar with Japan Society and UK-Japan High Technology Forum inLondon.Workshop on Cells and Molecules in Biotechnology with Anna University in Chennai (formerly Madras).

1998

Workshop on Developing Global Bioresources through the European Union in Oxford.

1999

Opening of Oxford Conference by HRH The Princess Royal.

2000

First Symposium opened up to senior school children and their teachers.
